Here in TN we are lumped in with realtors and contractor and therefore are essential personnel. Our #1 goal is the safety of our clients and the home owners. To this end, we request that the home be vacated for the inspection and that the buyer not attend the inspection. We wear all appropriate PPE. In the event that others need to be in the home, we request that they also wear appropriate PPE and that a strict 6' distance be maintained at all times. Like others, we also make ourselves available for a phone consultation once our reports are emailed to the clients. Overall, we have only seen a marginal, very temporary drop in inspections. We are back to 3 daily and 8-9 days out.
