Now that the IRS is sending assessment notifications, ACA GPS is using our knowledge and expertise to provide consultation services for employers that have received a Letter 226j. Services include:

>> Reviewing the 1094C and 1095Cs, the data that was used to create them and the XML file that was submitted to the IRS to identify user and/or technical errors.
>> Providing a detailed list of issues that contributed to the potential assessment.
>> Providing a list of the corrections that need to be made, when applicable.
>> Assisting with development of a detailed response to Letter 226j, which includes Forms 14764 (ESRP Response) and 14765 (Employee Premium Tax Credit (PTC) Listing.

Our proprietary software, ACA Management Tool®, allows us to convert an employer’s data and XML files into two separate filings so that a side-by-side comparison between what should have been filed to the IRS and what actually was filed can be made. Additionally, we can analyze the XML file for compliance with IRS protocols and requirements to determine if there are any technical errors in the transmission.
