About Us

Hello everyone!

Allow me to introduce myself – I'm a wife, proud mother of two beautiful kids, and someone who knows how to rock to the sound of heavy metal. When I'm not immersed in the joys of family life, you'll find me unleashing my gaming prowess and conquering virtual worlds. It's my way of unwinding and embracing my inner warrior.

But there's more to me than just being a metalhead gamer. I'm also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and the proud owner of Simply Green Bookkeeping. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers, I help businesses thrive by untangling their financial complexities and creating clear pathways to success.

Throughout my 12-year journey as a wife (longer if we count the dating years! ), I've learned the importance of building strong foundations and nurturing relationships. The same principles apply to my work as a bookkeeper – providing a solid financial base for businesses to grow and flourish.

Being a mom has taught me the value of time and the beauty of balancing multiple responsibilities. It's a juggling act that keeps me on my toes, but I cherish every moment of laughter, chaos, and unconditional love.

As a QuickBooks expert, I navigate the financial landscape with precision and care. I know that behind every successful business lies the power of organized numbers. From tracking every expense to maximizing profits, I help entrepreneurs make smart, informed decisions that drive growth.

But what sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to sustainability. I believe in blending financial excellence with eco-conscious practices. That's why I founded Simply Green Bookkeeping – a firm that not only empowers businesses but also champions environmentally friendly solutions.

So, whether I'm rocking out to metal anthems or balancing the books, I bring passion, expertise, and a touch of personal flair to everything I do. I'm here to make a difference, one ledger at a time, and help businesses thrive on their journey to success.

Its been timing for me. I prefer the midday luncheons or the evening meetings. As a mom with a business and the kids at home timing is everything. With every person comes a different schedule I know especially with working a business and having kids at home. My personal preference would be from 1-3pm for meetings just a little after lunch but right before that afternoon tired feeling hits. As always the evening times would be great for meetings as I am a night owl mostly! In all reality network meetings are about building the relationship with whomever you may be talking to if its an employee or a potential client so always be open to many different ideas even if that includes different time frames.

I prefer to take Sundays and Mondays off. I have had burnout before and taking time off and for yourself is a sure way to prevent that. Both days are dedicated family and personal time.  (more) I prefer to take Sundays and Mondays off. I have had burnout before and taking time off and for yourself is a sure way to prevent that. Haven't had to many nightmares yet!  I have however had one instance where the conversation did not flow and we had a awkward silence. Also immediate pitching is not something I like either in a call. I prefer to get to know the person lets talk about things other than business.  (more) Haven't had to many nightmares yet!  I have however had one instance where the conversation did not flow and we had a awkward silence. These are all amazing ideas. My goal with clients is to figure out what they need and how I can bridge the gap for them in their business all of this while not being pitchy and learn more about each other. In the end I do want to have a good connection with them.  (more) These are all amazing ideas. She is a mom, business owner and and CPA who truly loves helping other moms get into bookkeeping. She has weekly calls monthly coaching and even her husband helps out with the techy part of business. All in all I was so impressed at how the program was made from starting, time management, marketing and even when she starts talking about bookkeeping. This has boosted confidence in my business and has truly been an amazing journey!
