I would regularly stop by real estate offices, bring food or gift bottles of wine, lots of lunches, and also, if you can host an event for the general public (like a lunch & learn or a networking happy hour) and partner with said agent or broker, it more often than not will win them over. Don’t forget holidays (Christmas baskets and cards, etc.) and Birthdays!

As long as a company discloses all aspects of their products, realistic expectations, and fair pricing they can win over customers.... (more) What I’ve learned from dealing with people’s finances over the years is that transparency and accessibility are the most important ingredients for building trust. As long as a company discloses all aspects of their products, realistic expectations, and fair pricing they can win over customers. Being accessible to your clients at all times is also powerful. Even when problems arise or questions that keep customers awake a night, the ability for them to pick up the phone and reach you or get a response back quickly builds long lasting trust and loyalty for the long haul :)
