"Over the past 12 years, Stream Cares has worked proudly alongside various organizations—Habitat for Humanity, Operation Once in a Lifetime and the American Red Cross, to name a few—to give back to communities and support the men and women who sacrificed so much for our country.
Now, through the new Stream Cares Foundation, we're refocusing our philanthropic efforts to address the growing crisis of homelessness in America. The numbers are impossible to ignore:
•560,000 people in the U.S. are homeless.
•Veterans make up 8 percent of the homeless population.
•In Dallas alone, there are more than 3,900 homeless people, a 24 percent increase from 2015.
Something must be done. And we need your help. The Stream Cares Foundation was created to allow us to partner directly with you, our Associates, and even our loyal Stream customers, to change lives—together.
We plan to start strong. Throughout the month of April, we will contribute $1 to the Stream Cares Foundation for every new customer you enroll. If we reach 20,000 new customers by the end of the month, we'll donate another $5,000 to help end homelessness across the country.
