Most of our contracts are over $100k and to eliminate extended payments we get at least one third up front with the purchase order and explain to the client that will be for services and products we are supplying until a certain date when the next payment is due. If the payment is not in our...

Most of our contracts are over $100k and to eliminate extended payments we get at least one third up front with the purchase order and explain to the client that will be for services and products we are supplying until a certain date when the next payment is due. If the payment is not in our hands no later than 10 days after posted date, work will cease until the payment is received. This works very well as our products are required for them to function.

to find new clients i connected with suppliers in the market where i was seeking new clients and got referrals from them. most were manufactures that i had supplied previous services for and they would recommended me to their clients which paved the way for me to make contact.
