I prefer to tell my clients that I will try to get that service for them and get back to them. It can enhance the relationship with that client rather than flatly saying NO.

There are a number of wise options. One is to offer a minor discount if services are paid up front. Another is to break services into segments with payment to be paid before next segment worked on and completed. That way they are motivated to always be current. I am always available at...
