Based on your statement of winter coming I am to assume you are in the North. I am currently in Florida and we are generally impacted with more business in the winter as the “snow birds” come to Florida and increase the population. However, I worked a car wash in Pennsylvania for many years. It was my experience that car owners were more concerned about salt removal and keeping there car clean in the winter because they don’t want to or don’t have the means to do it themselves this time of year. Make sure you have hot water and preferably a spray system that gets the underneath of the car clean and market yourself accordingly. Any day that is 32 -36 degrees will be your busiest days.

I believe radio is like every advertising. If you use it, you must be all in. Trying to dip your toe will not get great results. Use it to go the extra mile when having a sale or use it as the main source but like anything else, you need it to be heard so pick a station and saturate it.

We have a Christmas dinner every year at a local restaurant. We have a drawing for various prizes and take photos that we produce in a frame and distribute in the next week. We also collect for Toys for Tots.
