About Us

VIP, Inc. is a national independent insurance agency that specializes in Health Insurance. We provide the highest level contracts with the best carriers in the industry. I've learned a great deal throughout my 39 year career and I am still learning. I love sharing my knowledge & experience with my agents. My agents and their clients mean everything to me. If I can help my agents to succeed in finding the best coverage for their clients, then I in turn am successful. We don't get paid to "show up" or put our time in. We need to be sharper and more focused on our client's needs than our competitors. We are a team and we work together to succeed by finding the best plans for our client's. It's not always fun or easy doing what an insurance agent has to do every day in order to be successful. Yet, the rewards are bountiful for those select agents that find their niche and take their client's best interests to heart. Nothing is more satisfying to me than helping an agent become a top producer with my company by building a strong, growing customer book of business, by being the very best at what we do for our VIP clients. I love coaching, teaching & inspiring others to do better.

ICHRA's (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements) were approved by the Trump administration with the support of HHS and DOL. So, the most bipartisan action in some time is now law as of  1/1/2020! The ICHRA allows any size company to set up & fund an HRA with all of it's tax benefits to the employer and employees, for the sole purpose of purchasing far more affordable individual med plans rather than over-priced and unaffordable group plans which more than 50% of groups of under 50 lives (98% of businesses) have dropped since the passing of the ACA which have crushed the small group market place. Now employers can fund for personalized health plans for their employees at 1/3 the cost of Group Plans that have to comply with all of the ACA mandates which make Group plans unaffordable & unappealing to both employers & employees. With ICHRA's both employers & employees not only get the personalized coverage that they desire at less than half the cost of Group plans but there are no deal killing participation requirements and the Employer can contribute differently into the ICHRA up to 9 classes of employee. Amazingly flexible! No fiduciary liability because the employer is no longer "sponsoring" a Group health plan with all of it's state & federal rules & laws. Each employee picks out their own tailor made coverage with their insurance agent ..."US"!     The Employer satisfaction goes up: cutting his employee benefits costs in half or better while keeping all his same tax deductions while eliminating the very serious Fiduciary Liability that goes with offering a Group Plan. Employee satisfaction goes up: this is the first time they sit with an agent that personalizes a plan just for them with all of the benefits they want minus the one's they don't (unlike the ACA mandated benefits that most Americans have grown weary of). Also a plan that moves with them affordably when they leave the employer (unlike COBRA). The agent satisfaction goes up: because now he's selling a plan where everyone is a winner including himself making not an average of 3%-4% commissions but rather 25% commissions ...a 700% increase in agent compensation. Everyone wins with ICHRA's  & customized individual health plans! Also, employees keep their customized plans due to much higher satisfaction & affordability. These plans stay on the books, making it easier for agents to build a business with a solid future and dependable cash flow.

(more)  This Fall has appeared to be a mass exodus from the ACA plans now that most Americans realize there is no longer a mandate & penalty holding them back. The most creative and economically sound plan that we are setting up for individuals and small groups these days is an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) in conjunction with a comprehensive indemnity plan which is typically less than half of the cost of individual Obamacare & Group plans and also allows you to receive treatment at any doctor or hospital in the U.S. without a referral. (Another big bone of contention with the ACA's ridiculously restrictive regional HMO networks.) ICHRA's were just approved for Jan. 1 2020 by the Trump administration with the blessing and further approval of the Dept. of Health & Human Services (HHS) and the Dept. of Labor (DOL). They are the best tax incentive plans to be approved for all size businesses in more than 2 decades and expected to be incredibly popular.  Be careful though because you are not allowed to use the funds in an ICHRA to pay for Short Term Med (STM) or Medishare plans.
