As a small gift shop, how do you keep your displays fresh, without having a huge backlog?

Most recently I have relied on fillin my shop with hand selected items that are either from Etsy shops ( I applied to be a wholesale account buyer ) and or local artisans. We have a diversified selection of retail items and although I have searched far and wide for these items, it has made my store a stand out. These unique retail gifts and merchandise compliment the type of floral work we do nicely. Sometimes I buy 6 of something and sometimes I buy just 1. It all depends on what it is.

That is a good response! I tried a company called, Evergreen and found out later, the same product was being sold at Menards and Shopko at prices lower than mine. Yet, if I tried to sell at that price, I would be giving it away.
