Bikes For Christ, Inc.

About Us

We help supply underprivileged kids, veterans who are trying to get back on their feet and anyone that has a need and is trying to improve their situation with transportation in the form of bicycles. If you have something just sitting around and no longer being used, please contact us and we will be happy to take it off your hands. Have a women's or children's bike? We can still use those as well.... every kid deserves a bike!

Please contact us through our page or call 813-533-9177. To donate, please visit: www.Bikes4Christ.com/donations

We work directly with other charitable organizations, among them Metropolitan Ministries, Kay's Ministry, ECHO, Amazing Love Ministries, Tampa Crossroads, Gracepoint and many more!

How We Got Started

Bikes For Christ was started in 2016 with a commitment to helping those in need while also sharing the love of God. Our organization has quickly grown to encompass providing transportation across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk and Pasco Counties with a mission to one day be nationwide. By showing God's love through providing bicycles for those in need, we hope to lead them to a life in His eternal kingdom.

Last I checked, Walmart is completely out of bikes, and the regular bike shops that we partner with are all running low on inventory and their service departments are slammed with riders dusting off their old bikes and getting them back on the road. I'm not sure where the rest of the people are on this thread, but we are near Tampa, so you can imagine weather here is great year round for riding. All our inventory comes from donations and then repairs are made in our shop. To cover our expenses, that is all most private donors and some grant money. We are looking into creating a social enterprise program to aid with expenses though. www.Bikes4Christ.com

Along with every bike we give out, we also provide a Bible or other scriptural text. We work across four counties here in the Tampa Bay area with approximately 50 agencies to help their clients. On top of that, we just completed our first international gifting of bikes and will be doing more of the this work in the future. www.Bikes4Christ.com
