Painted Sky Alpaca Farm & Fiber Mill offers complete fiber processing services for all types of natural fibers. We also breed and raise quality Huacaya Alpacas and transform their fiber into beautiful yarns and finished goods which are sold in our on-site Gift Shop.

Fiber Mill Services:
We take your raw fleeces and transform them into beautiful yarns, rovings, batts and rug yarns. We offer total fiber processing services including tumbling, washing, dyeing, picking, separating, carding, draw frame, spinning, plying, coning, steaming and skeining.

Not sure what to make with your fleeces? No problem. We'll consult with you and make recommendations on best yarn weights, fiber blends, color options and more. Our goal is the make the finest end product from each and every fleece.

Alpaca Sales:
With our Alpacas, we always strive to enhance the quality of our animals through selective breeding. We look at the attributes of our females and then select a male that exhibits higher qualities thereby always increasing the value of our animals. The attributes we consider are physical conformation, fleece characteristics, color genetics, and temperament of each parent. If you are interested in purchasing one of our quality alpacas, stop by our farm and we'll be happy to introduce you.

Alpaca Mentor Farm:
If you are interested in starting your own alpaca business, come and spend some time with us and we'll tell you all about the pros and cons so you can make a more informed decision. And when you are ready, we'll help you get your business up and running with a quality starter herd.

Agisting Services:
For those of you who simply love alpacas but don't have the acreage or shelter to bring them home, no problem. We offer complete agisting services so all you have to do is to come visit and give them lots of hugs.
