Book 1 is great for beginning readers ages 4-8, English language learners, and readers with dyslexia. It contains the following phonics patterns: short a, short i, short o, short u, short e, digraph sh, digraph ch, and digraphs th and th. It's a 200 page chapter book (which young readers love!), but is written for very early readers.
