Muldoon's Men's Wear features regular, big, tall, short and small sizes in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Major brands include Pendleton, Tommy Bahama, Marquis, Cutter & Buck, Stetson, Dobbs and Stormy Kromer.
How We Got Started
My dad had the building that we are in to this day in a open field with plenty of room for parking.
He took a big chance but it worked! He added on to the building in 1956 to the size it is now.

Our in store business was down 48% for 2020 AFTER spending twice as much on advertising locally. Online was up 113% over 2020! We netted a -16% totally for 2020.
Before Covid, our mix was 25% Internet and 75% in store. Now it’s 50/50.

I audit expenses daily. If we need something like for weddings or a hot seller on our website, we buy it. As for expenses, I plan on stopping local advertising because of lack of results.

I went to a virtual trade show for fall of ‘20 where I picked up a few new vendors that I would never of seen at the clothing show but they are not going to do that for fall of ‘21 because not many people liked it and it was too expensive to do.
