If My Medical Spa Policy Requires a Credit Card on File Before Booking, Must Clients Sign a Legal Waiver?

I require a credit card on file to secure clients appointments and make sure they have it reserved. The booking system will not charge the card unless the client no show their appointment. It is to secure our books as we are a very busy salon with a long waitlist.
