Ben Davidson was training dogs in the San Diego area for 15 years prior to starting Devotion to Dogs. He founded Devotion to Dogs in January 2015, shortly after he attended Northridege Animal Behavior College. Devotion to dogs provides in home training for you and your dog(s) as well as board & train packages.

In home training allows us to better understand why your dog is acting the way he or she is because all behavior issues start at the home. This can lead to why your dog may have some behavior problems such as aggressive behavior towards people and other dogs, sit ,stay, come and many other behaviors. Board & train allows us to keep your dog for 2-4 weeks minimum to work with them on their training and including you in the process. Once your board & train time has ended, we do follow-up sessions and much more to ensure your dog's continued success.

My job is to observe what is happening with your dog, and translate exactly what they are trying to tell you with their behavior in any given situation. Just imagine how peaceful your life could be with a pet that understands your direction and commands. My goal is to make sure quality of life for you and your family, dogs included, is the best it can be and to keep dogs from going to the shelters simply because of language barriers. I started training so I could educate and rehabilitate owners and their dog(s) making life better one lesson at a time. While I can help you meet any training goals you may have, the type of training I specialize in is behavioral. Most owners don’t realize their dog may require behavioral training. Behavior training can be anything from basic commands such as sit, stay, come to aggression towards other dogs or people. I set the foundation that helps solve ANY behavior problem.
