I come from a family of many teachers, and we absolutely love teaching and learning from our students. I have traveled extensively and esteem cultures throughout the world. The beautiful thing about helping people with English is that we are both engaged in learning, and progress is recognized immediately. There is no end to topics discussed, challenges conquered and hearts made light. It truly is a win-win relationship!

As a child, my parents brought into our home students from around the world. We enjoyed many conversations over dinner, and I saw from an early age that people connect on many levels, no matter where we are from. The mutual respect and appreciation grows continually, and often life-long friendships are formed. I do not see myself as an 'expert' (although I am credentialed and experienced); rather, I am a facilitator to help English language learners navigate through the complicated language rules and exceptions. It can be joyous!
