Best method of making sure your client gets the exceptional service in banking industry is following up with current clients quarterly or stopping in when passing thru their business just to say hello. This has worked for me and have many center of influences in the community.

I agree with John as well. I have been a business development officer for short time and in a new market. Networking has helped me tremendously getting to know the community and have met many businesses. Its not really selling, you are interested in their business and they are noticing you.
