Seems so simple for us: 1. word of mouth is very powerful. 2. Signs!
We've got a nice road sign from a state program (meant to minimize billboards) to steer customers to us. We're not on the main road so this is vital. Then there's our pottery/gallery sign at the beginning of our driveway which grabs people. Of course we are online and in guide books. We want to cover as much as our budget allows.
