Being asked to cooperate with a research project  using 3 imported breeds of livestock protection dogs (including Turkish Kangal Dogs) sponsored by USDA-WS-NWRC with Utah State University was a highlight in our 30+ year involvement with the native Turkish livestock protectors, Akbash and Kangal... (more) Being asked to cooperate with a research project  using 3 imported breeds of livestock protection dogs (including Turkish Kangal Dogs) sponsored by USDA-WS-NWRC with Utah State University was a highlight in our 30+ year involvement with the native Turkish livestock protectors, Akbash and Kangal Dogs. Seeing this breed receive the attention it deserves and seeing it introduced to western ranchers was what we have long worked for. 

Team
