the New Medicine of the Old Ways
“Medicine” is the word used to define a vast volume of age-old practices and knowledge. They come down to us from the ancients of indigenous cultures. They help you develop your ‘personal power’ (the gifts and talents you were given to express and share with the world).
Often we’re disconnected from our personal power and have forgotten our true nature. The Medicine is a treasure trove of tried and true, time-tested practices based in wisdom and knowledge from time immemorial. It helps you remember who you are and reclaim your personal power. It helps you become the person you were born to be. It is ever available for you to learn -- to this day!
Come sit with me. We will Journey into sacred space. We will employ the New Medicine of the Old Ways to help you find your own true path, and walk it with certainty, confidence, power, grace and beauty.
I'd been loving my life and my practice in the healing arts for over 20 years when menopause hit me like a ton of bricks. I went to bed one night feeling fine and woke up wishing I could die. It was intense! Help came from a healer of my Cherokee heritage. Even though I hadn't been raised in traditional ways, this resonated so profoundly with me that I apprenticed with Grandmother River for decades. Menopause turned out to be an initiation that led to my being ordained into the Cherokee priesthood in January of 2015. I discovered that my personal purpose in this lifetime is to walk the path of the healer -- to extend understanding and compassion, and to help others find their own unique path through practices and insights that strengthen their ability . . . and courage to walk it. It is a blessing beyond words.
