Bitcoin is secured by nothing, is extremely volatile, and did I mention it is secured by nothing?

you did mention that...so, what about ethereaum? Seems more secured. Anyone is gambling no matter what when they have stocks. Maybe what I should ask is what is your opinion on digital currency, in an age of technology and so many continuous advancement?
Many criminals come in 3 piece suits and like Dutch Tulips. Let me then ask what the USD is secured by? Faith? When the dollar goes down we will see who is left standing.

An asset-backed bitcoin or equivalent would change my perspective.
My opinion of digital currency is very positive, if done correctly. Technically, credit/debit cards and e-checks could be considered digital proxies for cash transactions, but I do prefer the idea of a pure digital currency.
