The Broward County Medical Association (BCMA) has grown over the years, but its mission has remained the same as a professional organization supporting its member physicians (MDs and DOs), and Physician Assistants. BCMA focuses on local medical issues. BCMA members meet with state and federal legislators to discuss healthcare issues and advocate for quality patient care. BCMA provides a referral service to the public as well as helping patients with their over-all medical information needs.
The BCMA hosts meetings for members and their office staff on hot practice management topics throughout the year and is always available to help with managed care issues. In addition, there are many discounts available for BCMA members. Many fun meetings are also held, such as the Boat Parade Party, Young Physicians Party, and the Women Physicians Meetings.
