"Yes there is scandal in the Church and that is what gets the headlines. but there other stories, and the life of Finbarr M. Corr is one of them. His book is, to borrow a title from the Pope, the journal of a soul and it is journey to the priesthood , through the priesthood to a well who knows? If a book has a temperature, then A Kid from Legaginney is warm and leavened with the gentle breezes of kindness, humor and compassion. So here it is a memoir of a man doing just that. So here it is, a memoir of a man doing just that, a man with a great heart and writing style that draws you in as if you were sitting by his fireside listening. Listening and being moved."

Since I am a fundraiser for needy causes, along with being an author I don't feel that my benefactors are getting less generous as they get older. I am already in my mid-eighties I still donate to all my charities.
