I have been writing since I was eleven years old. It took twenty years to become traditionally published. Then I published a few more books, traditionally before becoming an Indie Author. I chose this method to maintain full control over my books. I love it! I'm basically a full-time author with a part-time job. I am married with three grown children, and five grandchildren. I draw some of my inspiration from my family among other places. I plan on writing until the day I die. It would be nice to go beyond that too, if it was allowed lol.
