How We Got Started
Why we are in business is the same thing today as it was 30 years ago. We truly believe that every business (no matter the size) deserves someone to help them manage their risk and not just sell them more insurance. We make a difference in the business community by providing that and giving back to those that helped get us here.

Ask. That's the problem with most businesses, they don't ASK. It seems to be hard for some business to ask for that referral - which I don't understand.

Gary, you covered it. If your not asking for referrals, remember - there is not magic pill. That's your best source of new business and totally up to you. Our Agency does nothing but commercial - so my comments are based on that. Not sure what lines you handle.

Next would be cross selling. Partner with someone (if you don't want to do it yourself) and cross sell you book: Voluntary benefits (Colonial,Aflac), Life, Health, PrePaid Legal, Personal Lines/Commercial Lines..etc.
On Social Media, I'm not saying you are doing it wrong because I've experience the same thing. But there IS something there - I'm working hard on it now. Great Book: Jab,Jab,Jab, Right Hook. If you don't get on the wagon now 100% it's going to leave you behind. The business world is changing quickly.....
Nobody has your answer. We all have to figure out what works best for us, but in my opinion it has to be a combination of a lot of things, concentrating on social media. Very low cost, but time consuming.
Best of luck....
