If you are totally overwhelmed by yourself, or your need specialized expertise to run a machine, accomplish a task, and there is work/demand for that task, then you bring that individual back.  Use the same logic on each other employee, however, don't be afraid to "cross train" those that are already employed to be able to do multiple tasks until you can bring back the next employee. Everyone needs to be "loaded" at about 80% workload-- Oh, I get it-- we don't want to kill our folks, however, remember, "busy hands are happy hands!"  After being in quarantine for 3 months, there are many hands that wish to be busy!

(more) The key here is to have an existing relationship with a banker.  NOW is the wrong time to develop that relationship.  Should have happened 6 months ago, however, if no relationship developed, begin today.  A community banker is a better bet than a big bank such as Chase, BOA, Wells Fargo.  Establish some type of account at the bank, put in $10,000 and then FEED it every month, if only $200/month.  Show the banker that you are serious about the relationship-- and talk to the banker everytime you go to the bank.  The banker wants to know you, you want to know them.  Make it a point to talk to them every month, if not more often as you develop the relationship. Establish a line of credit.  If you put $10,000 in the bank in a depository relationship, ask for a line of credit worth $7500, using your deposit as collateral.  This will get you started-- then every month, EXERCISE the line of credit.  Take $3300 from the line of credit, pay your bills and then pay the line back at the beginning of the next month.  The cost is the interest on the money you borrowed for the 12 days you used the bank's money.  Do this every month for 6 months, then ask for a line increase to $15,000-- now, if you did as I said above, the bank has faith and trust in you and will most likely want to grant you the increased line.  If you get a line of credit, exercise it-- don't let it sit there with no action-- sure, you pay interest-- however, when you are in a real box, like now, you have the line of credit to use. We have more ideas to help business run-- these are just 2.

We are having some awfully hard and painful conversations with business owners, that perhaps, should have been done previously, but the business owner did not wish to engage in conversation.  Now, they know that they need to make tough decisions and seek our advice on how to do that.

Reduce operating hours-- see when you are least productive, realign operating hours to conform to most efficient sales periods. Halt all inbound product shipments.  You can reorder if you have sold the product. Talk to your banker-- Now.  Tell the truth,  they will help-- maybe painful, but they will help  Reduce/eliminate any "nice to haves".  You dont them now

If you're trying to reach all of them, then you need to use all the various different social mediums.

Get some mint and plant it in a bowl near your desk.  Mint is hard to kill and grows all the time.  Your colleagues will notice, tell them a doctor told you to do it for your sinuses.  Mint is easy to take care of and eminates a fresh, pleasant smell.
