Alignable: Maureen Plowman Joins As New VP Of Marketing

BOSTON, MA— February 1, 2021 —Alignable, North America’s largest small business network with 6 million businesses in 30,000+ communities, announced today that Maureen Plowman has joined the company’s executive leadership team as Vice President of Marketing. 

In this role, Maureen will drive Alignable’s marketing strategy including brand management, content, PR and media relations, as well as growth, advocacy and product marketing — guiding the already-accomplished team to meet the demands of the business today and evolve to the next stage of maturity. 

A seasoned marketer who’s passionate about customers, Maureen has spent her career building strong brands and driving breakthrough growth. Most recently, she played a critical role in the acquisition of Meteorix, a Workday implementation partner, by IBM.

Maureen was tasked with developing strategic plans for the organization, including being named to the prestigious Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Companies list, and ultimately leading to the strategic sale to IBM. 

Maureen has been instrumental in successfully branding companies during all phases: start-up, acquisition, and IPO. She places a strong focus on customer success and loyalty, building high-performing referral and loyalty programs at Constant Contact that resulted in strong customer satisfaction, increased referrals, and ARPU (average revenue per user).
