We want your feedback: which of these two value proposition statements sounds better?

We would like feedback on two possible Value Proposition Statements we are considering for a client. Please let us know if you prefer #1 or #2:
#1: We help you do more with less, while making fewer mistakes.
#2: We help you do more with less, with fewer mistakes.
Thanks!

I would end the sentence after "less." It's more concise, more memorable and a more positive statement.

#2 is best

#1 leaves a humerious possiblity that it is you who will make fewer mistakes, not your client ..lol

I am not sure of the 'make fewer mistakes". Perhaps there is a way to turn that around. When they make fewer mistakes, then what happens? __________ (answer)

greater accuracy, speed, less turnover time ... et.

The answer to the above question might add to the value proposition.

Hope this helps in some small way

No question for me; #2, if these are your only choices. Mistake has a strong negative conitation and option #1 is much worse. How about 'fewer problems occurring' as an aternative?

I would suggest rethinking this.

It would be better to say: We help you do more with less and make fewer mistakes. Reason is that first option is correct grammatically but not vernacular. The second infers that mistakes are going to be made due to the promise. Using and suggests that benefit and mistakes are not linked.

Both of those statements would make me decide to stay with your competition. As others have stated, first leave out mistakes. As a consumer I know there may be problems but do not want to be reminder. Unless, it is a service or product that even a little error is bad (i.e. Surgeon, Car Repairs...). I would reword the statement.

As a company that get's approached nearly daily with "value propositions", I agree with a number of the other replies, but what I would appreciate is plain speak - and an emphasis on working TOGETHER to bring my (or said company) vision to fruition.

Do not like the word mistakes.....and less mistakes? So just how many mistakes is that? Get the negative word out of there. Use the word Efficient or Efficiency. Maybe also add the word optimize? but not sure, would not want to get too wordy

YOU ARE TELLING THEM THAT THERE IS A CHANCE THAT YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A MISTAKE. IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE EITHER ONE OR TWO, STOP AT LESS. A BETTER ONE I THINK WOULD BE, " I WILL WORK HARD TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET THE RESULTS YOU EXPECT."

If it is a choice between these two, I  prefer #2.

However, I  don't think this is the most effective way to communicate this message. Here's why. Both are predicated on a foundation that there are still going to be mistakes. Both phrases use the word fewer, indicating less than something (presumably our competition).

People understand that no business is perfect and we all make mistakes from time to time. However, in my humble opinion, this shouldn't be highlighted in our marketing efforts.

Instead, what if this was posited this in a positive light. For example, "We help businesses maximize their marketing ROI, with unequaled accuracy and performance". Of course, there are many ways to say it. Just my thoughts.
