We have distance learning available for those families who do not feel comfortable having their child attend in person, or if a classroom has to shut down due to covid positive case.
My child participated in remote learning this last school year. Her school responded to the pandemic by meeting with children online. But when I think of distance learning, I think of a complete curriculum or course that is implemented online by a teacher who instructs over a long period of time. The elementary school usually doesn't have that kind of distance learning.
Yes, Ceiba College Prep will be implementing a 100% Distance Learning program starting 8/3/2020. We will re-evaluate at the end of Quarter 1. Thankfully, we had more than 97% of students checking in daily during the fourth quarter of 2019-20, and we've had a 1:1 Chromebook program in place for six years now.
Lotus Learning provides individualized programs to help families create and implement plans for virtual learning, offering specific strategies and practical tools to help students set up a successful start to the school year. Since schools are beginning the academic year with distance learning in fall, we are helping families navigate the challenges of this new learning modality.

My music school is currently "online only" for guitar, voice, drum, piano and woodwind lessons. We feel very fortunate to be able to provide families with a constructive outlet and a positive distraction from these unique times. With higher risk activities like voice lessons and woodwind lessons , we've decided to err on the side of caution an go online instead of having them happen in an enclosed indoor space.
Yes. We will be in full session and starting back on August 17th with In-Person and Blended learning options. (I.e., Online &/or Paper-Based; In-Person classroom learning 2-days only per week per student; Blended Models - depending on student and family needs, spikes in Corona Virus, State/Federal guideline updates, etc.)
We went fully remote March 13th, 2020 and graduated 40+ students out of our 105 total student body. We are enrolling students Full-Go, currently! Students are able to enroll with any of our 11 schools throughout Ohio (six locations in Central Ohio) at anytime during the school year!
Noteworthy: We are now an accredited 22+ school. Any person 22 years of age or older can now get their High School Diploma! (Not a GED)

I teach some students on line. I have adult students and many prefer the on line class over the classroom. They need flexibility.
