How are you working with other businesses this holiday season?

Are you joining forces with other businesses in your community to help each other through the holidays? What are some creative ways you might collaborate?

We are buying gift certificates from local restaurants and stores to give to our clients and friends.  We will put together gift baskets from our downtown Denison and Sherman stores, for gifts.  We have offered our parking lot to vendors, if they want to set up to sell their items.

I am open to recommending other businesses and also patronizing them as well whenever I can.  It is good to work with other businesses because if you are willing to look out for the welfare of other businesses, they are even more willing to refer other to you when they are looking for your type of service.

We are offering wine tastings every Friday and Saturday at the establishments which carry our Moon Tree brands, we are also be pouring  our wine at local festivals like Christmas at the Creek on Nov 14th-15th

I would love to collaborate with other businesses in the local community! Please reach out if you are interested in joining forces! I am also a Mary Kay consultant. I have some great holiday products for a joint basket!

What I've decided to do is change from primarily residential customers over to commercial customers and offering annual contracts where I do the work before the first payment installment, allowing commercial customers monthly or quarterly installments, it makes me out to be the creditor and I charge zero fees for it.  My prices for annual services on windows, softwash of structures, solar scrubbing and rinsing, and rain gutters are better than anyone in my quality bracket and almost any competitor in the city even for lower quality work.

I work with CPA’s with clients that know they haven’t updated anything for the year or that have reviewed their clients’ financials and think something is horribly wrong. Clients and CPA’s, especially, don’t want to have to deal with a cleanup job to either fix or reconstruct financials during tax season when we’re the busiest. They’d much rather get it all done before we get extremely busy and don’t have time to deal with it. The holiday season is busy for me because of this. It’s pre-tax season and cleanups need to happen quickly, yet accurately.

I haven't figured out who to team up with, but am always open to calibrate with other business......

As a creative, it's difficult to reach out in the art world for my small business.  However, I have found a couple of opportunities.  I will be showing my jewelry designs at the Evanston Art Center (https://www.evanstonartcenter....) for the holidays & 3 wall hung sculptures will be shown at the Highland Park Art Center (https://www.entrythingy.com/d=...) in January.
