It's all about building authority. blog posts, vlogs, podcasts, networkings locally, offering seminars at events and associations, SEO, facebook ads all come into play. Your professional pictures, videos, and well written blog posts are vital. Also, connect with CPA's and attorneys with similar clientele to offer a triple threat presentation all on protecting assets and building wealth. I was fortunate enough to work with 3 such professionals in the past and it was impactful on the community and certainly made a significant impact on the professionals bottom line.

Getting The Wheel Turning For Lead GenerationDeveloping your authority is vital

As you have probably been hearing a lot, you are not selling insurance, you are selling you.  While you may carry a brand in your business, you are still selling yourself first.

You will always have competition, so the best thing to do is show why you are the best choice for whomever you are talking to.  That is easy to say, but, it is true.  So, become the one your website says you are, and be comfortable in that description.

HI Chris,

Find a nitch and go the miles.  Continue to reach out and look at different ideas.

One we use in the agency is:  Level Funded Plan, Section 125, TPA administrator, Wellness Program. ( Not all wellness programs will work), and Worksite Marketing.

Hope things go well for you.  Stay in there for the long run.  Also I would offer Medicare plan options to your customers.

Life insurance.  Go with one company.  (Midland Life) and sell term to make them a customer.  Then convert them to permanent policy later.

Work on Referrals.  That a great way to build your business.

All the best.  Jed Miner  JMA Insurance Utah.

Be easy to find online. Be social media savvy, set up a business Facebook profile. Knowing who you are is about knowing what you stand for, what your brand is, your goals and your mission statement. Most importantly, it’s about your branding. If you don’t have clear, consistent branding and a target audience from the beginning, you may find it challenging to appeal to the very people you believe would benefit from your services. Have a game plan. Have a logo, a business headshot, and even a branding guide. You want your branding to be consistent across all platforms and, if it isn’t, it can be confusing for your clients.

This is not a simple question and there is not an easy answer couched in a few words. I will attempt to answer this question in a few words:

Are you creating demand or stealing market share for what you have to offer? If it is a me too products and service, what would you offer to stick your head above others?

if it is new , why should people buy it?

Build the marketing plan around these answers and have a sales process for lead conversion.

A simple answer - look and feel healthy and really listen. Good question.
