Does the person want a gym membership? Have they specifically talked about getting one? If so, it might be ok. But, if the person has not indicated they want a gym membership nor have they expressed a desire to lose weight/get in shape, then the gift isn't really a gift and could be interpreted as the significant other'a preference for a thinner partner.
I'd look in the mirror and say "when and what time!"
I would grab my workout clothes and get going, you don't have to tell me twice.
Celebrate. I'd only be disappointed if he picked a gym that didn't have a pool.
Do you really want them to get glammed up for someone else? Haha
Anyway, nothing wrong with good health.
well that all depends where he is coming from, isn't it. He could just be the most well meaning dear on the plant or dishing out passive aggressive hints.
Option #2 I would love it!!!! Looking now for home gym equipment and would love his support
Certainly appreciate the hornesty. My husband is my freind and if he is going to lie to me that I look good when I am not - who should I trust?
Exercise is good for many things other than shedding some pounds. If you're in business going to the gym can help.
Hi Shelly, I would of course thank them and invite them to come along! A partner in exercise is a life long partner in health.
