Using basic 'people skills'. Phone calls, ZOOM conferencing and networking are so important in staying connected to the pulse of meeting people where they are, as well as serving their needs. Always wanting to overdeliver on service and one-on-one connection always helps me reach goals faster, and these relationships are mutually beneficial as we all want to be seen and heard in the marketplace!
I start the day with reading from Holy Bible. The story aligns me with who I am and how I should conduct myself. It's a continuous process to constantly improve your personal skills. One thing I have learned best is that as soon as I make a judgement about someone I realize I in some form or another do the same thing! Keeps me grounded in giving grace! (I also realize that I responded to someone's comment, rather than posting my comment here! :)
As business owners, we know there is never a shortage of things demanding attention. To keep learning and improving, I seek out structured learning (online classes from local colleges, etc.) because this keeps me accountable.
Every day we face challenges that test our emotional, physical and mental strength, so I make it a point to conduct daily self assessments; to include critiquing myself.
The most important thing for me is to place God first, that is, I started the day talking to Him and then knowing that each person has such a unique value that makes them special and treat them as what they are ... valuable. When one gives before receiving, there is a great satisfaction
I'm having a dream that seems like an altered universe. The locations seem mixed from different parts of life and so do the characters. My actions seem genuine, but I have the sensation to focus on a deeper meaning.
**Alarm Rings, "It's 5:43 am!"** Off to a quiet place where my Father meets me to converse. I seek Him first each day. His example and LOVE shows me what's most important. To constantly improve my personal skills, I have communion with my family.
In preparing for the morning gathering, I (1) ask the Holy Spirit for his insight, I (2) read of others whom had Faith, and I (3) organize the materials. I'm putting my all into this few minutes of time, which allows me to look back on what I've accomplished when focusing on a certain skill. The single most important thing I do daily to improve my personal skills is have communion with my family.

I try to remember there are different personalities in the office and you need to be able to adjust at times depending on the situation.
Constant education
I reach out to at least one random client every day and ask, " How can I or
my company better serve your fuel needs? " I always ask for input or a fresh set of eyes/ideas.
