Is Instagram useful in your business? How did you go about building your customer base using it?

Your product is highly visible - but the best posts do more than show a product, they tell a story.  For example; instead of a picture of a diving watch, show me hands (wearing the watch) holding up a lobster they just caught - with the caption "dinner time".  You get the idea.  The best way to get others to follow you - is to follow them.  Look for opinion leaders in your arena or complimentary segments such as wedding planners or florists.  Keep your art professional grade.  But remember, once you start you cannot stop or you will lose momentum.  Don't throw 50 pictures up in a day - span them out.  It is a time line and be patient.

Haven't found it useful so far, but I'm sort of new to it and am still trying.  They tell me to use lots of hashtags and keywords, so that's what I have been doing.

Instagram not really useful in my business use more Facebook

Built customer base by doing shows and getting out and meeting people and by word of mouth

I am not the right person for this question - I’m sure it could help - however I’m not a Fan if Social Media.

I am on LinkedIn - But rarely Check it.

I work the “Old Fashioned Way”  through “Word of Mouth.”

Your Business might do well with Social Media.

I don't use IG but we do use Facebook and Houzz for our products.  Oh an always ask for customers to write an honest review of your service.  Word of mouth spreads faster then social media sometimes..

I use Instagram and i have had a couple of orders from using that platform. However, most of my sales are from vendor shows and referrals.

My business is very visual.  I also use many vendors. When posting I tag and follow my vendors. They follow me back and have used my pics in some of their posts. The use of proper & targeted hash tags # is also important.
