Giving back to the communities in which we live and work is an integral part of Santander US. One of the most important ways we do this each year is through our annual United Way campaign.
I don't allow my giving to be subjected to just a few days. I give everyday, because this is the day that the Lord has made and I rejoice in giving. Love and give Everyday.
I generally try to give back to the community throughout the year. As many people target the holidays as their designated giving season, many causes are overwhelmed during the holidays and starving the rest of the year.
Your Oviedo Dentist just hosted their 7th Dentistry from the Heart Event where we open our doors for a full day of free dentistry. This year we saw over 100 patients that get to enjoy their holidays with less pain. This event is made possible by our hard-working team and many volunteers that join forces.
I give back all year, not just the holidays. I give free advice to Non Profit organizations, serve on non profit group boards, and discount services to new Non Profit Groups.
The spirit of helping others must be all year, like the spirit of Brotherhood. We can not say thank you, and under your breath it only comes just once a year.
We are supporting non-profit organizations in their annual fundraising holiday events: H.O.L.A. (Hispanic Outreach Leaders in Action) a committee of the Midstate Chamber of Commerce in CT., S.C.O.W. (Spanish Community of Wallingford). Also, we will make Holy Trinity Church's wish to have their new carpeting installed for Christmas happen.
