I am trying to provide graphic design and fashion photography,  and other services through artform and graphics, as well as canvas art. The main thing that we need to focus on is getting people to want to work, instead of leaving it up to unemployment services to want to supplement them with money, benefits, and cash to make up for the cost of living. As you know, things are going up and we need to provide them with more money to live and some of these businesses are not doing that. That is what we are here to do, is to provide them with a job and employment where they can learn some skills and to apply them to real-life world situations.

What I find interesting is the level of suspicion small business owners have when grants and free offers of assistance are presented. It's as if a business owner would rather fold than accept assistance at no cost to them.

What do you suggest as an authentic approach to struggling small business owners?

Our business is dependent on a reliable supply chain and we are currently in the midst of an unprecedented supply crisis. In addition our suppliers have raised prices twice since the beginning of the year. We cannot sustain another price rise.

We are finding non-essential service businesses are hesitant to invest in the future because  of COVID uncertainty (fear of the unknown).   Many business owners could be helped with our  deep dive and profit planning services as that would give them the guidance and confidence they need to navigate the future.  I’m looking forward to helping many businesses recover and be better than ever.

Music is an art form which people need to hear to appreciate.

We at Maine Made Crafts/newenglandcraftfairs.com promote 6-9 Craft Fairs throughout the season, in doing so we help crafters and artists make an income to help their families through the long winter months in Maine.

We have found increases to venue rentals and advertising. Crafters and artists have also had big increases with buying products to make their one of a kind gifts.

I would be interested in the grants and other free offers Chuck from Millenium Ventures talked about, I know all us are interested in lowering our costs.

We hope everyone has a fantastic Fall and Christmas Season.

If you ask a person if they need what you are selling they would probably say no. If you have something that they are already buying then you appeal to their wants. I feel very optimistic about the 4Q because I try to appeal to wants and needs. If you can add products and or services that generate income and do not greatly impact your current overhead, what to you have to lose? Lets start "Changing The Future Outcome" together!

Q4 is N A to me as a seasonal tourism business . Our past Tourism season, considering a late start, was as busy as any previous year.

During the pandemic, since people have been able to go boating, our boating accessory business has done pretty well.
