Trying to get info to decide if Alignable is worth anything?

I get messages from alignable to view this or that - but it always seems to be a 'fishing trip' to get me to link one or more of my other accounts or services- I am trying to evaluate wether there is any 'there there', but I do not want to give up my valued assets and resources to do so

Mack, like your fishing analogy, you must be patient and consistent. I am a LinkedIn business networking fanatic. However, after joining Alignable, I've acquired three clients. I've never seen results like that with LinkedIn. I login once a week to Alignable. Admittedly, I could do more. As with any type of Networking, you get what you invest.

Hello: I have just joined alignable to help grow my business. I have found the customers using this site are very friendly and you are able to communicate with them freely and ask questions. This site is more in line with finding compatible business associates to whom you can reach out to for assistance, or to refer clients to who maybe looking for a service your companies do not offer. Hope this helpful. Cheryl

Alignable, like any other tool, you have to take the good and leave the bad. I like alignable. Lots a great advice from others and occassionally even some business. But that being said, it was never meant to be a source to obtain clients and sell your stuff. Its a place to give and recieve advice. You can get referrals from it yes, but again, if that's your only motivation....go somewhere else. If its a waste of your time its due to the fact you don't get what its here for in the first place.

There are people here who get and do appreciate the help and advice offered for free here. But alignable isn't your salesman.

Mack,

I like Q@A. Lots of GREAT advice. Saving me money. Great folks involved.

I do not get any business leads from it. zero. My office manger says it's a waste of time.

Most social media platforms and business networks never work for us.

I guess. We are on the fence.

We are a food design packaging firm.

I value the feedback from lots of business folks.

I am new to Alignable. I want to be involved in local community businesses something like B2B. I believe having a network of community businesses that can share and profit from each other works. I am still analyzing the worth in Alignable myself.

Sorry, just started here so I don't know yet. Not really sure if this is worthwhile.

I found it to be a waste of my time to be honest

I think it really depends on your business. Mine is virtual and I serve the entire U.S. I live in a more rural area and am not having any luck finding local connections which need my services. Either they aren't on here or they are out of my location...the "plus" connections were not helpful - not enough to really get out there. Very disappointed with this service really but I'm still working at it. Maybe someday it will pay off.

I contacted someone through Alignable whom I thought might need our services and whose services I was interested in for my business. I met them via Zoom and ended up being hired by them to provide translation services from English into Italian, so I have no complaints.
