I believe 2020 will be a terrific year with more people looking at saving on monthly budgets and taking advantage of the rebate offers. While internet shopping is on the rise it does not substitute for the person that can come to your facility and get to know what you do and have their best interest in mind. Let someone like me do the work as you have more important things to do in your business.
The business won't change drastically but the owners of these businesses should consider 2020 at a their change. Refocus your business and correct faults and improve your financial picture of your business. Happy New Year and we are here for you providing imprinted products and clothing for your marketing goals and keeping customers and employees happy.
I must try on clothes and shoes, to know if they fit.Online shopping will continue to increase; Amazon will get bigger (never a good thing for a company to get too big- makes everything homogenous). I'd like to see a resurgence of small retail shops and owners, but they continue to fight against the lower prices of "Walmart". Maybe the economy will continue to grow, allowing us to afford to support those small shops!
On line shopping will continue to erode at brick and mortar retail. All small retailers must find ways to fill smaller niche areas in order to survive. Most of our customers look to us to provide knowledgeable product advice as well as great customer service.
There has been some movement toward USA made products as a result (perhaps) of the China tariffs. Many suppliers absorbed the cost increases but that is not a sustainable approach. As a distributor of Promotional Products we have not seen a stronger push toward requiring American made products but most businesses are excited when we present the "patriotic" option.
Hoping for industry supply chain stabilization after first quarter of 2020. Current conditions are unsustainable and are detrimental to the long term survival of the Medical Cannabis industry in Oklahoma.
More people buying locally handmade pieces. I always try to make each transaction personal, by giving them ideas on other pieces and maybe telling them the story behind the pieces they’ve purchased. That’s what I do to set myself apart from everyone else. And I plan on having a bigger year in 2020 than I did in 2019.
With technology constantly advancing in the retail world, the bridal industry will also be changing. Individual salon owners as myself must over-service their customers during their visit. Make it about the experience!! A wedding is about making memories!

i think people are looking for more rustic, shabby chic, retro 60’s look, and simplicity.
