For me, the overarching principles of honesty and integrity found in Scripture are the foundation of my business. Charging a fair price for my services and being generous in compensating my staff comes next (the laborer is worthy of his hire). And then following the Golden Rule and treating others (whether clients or staff ) as I would want to be treated. I think my clients and staff should know that I am a Christian by how I treat them not because I say that I am a Christian business owner.
I do not use my Christianity as a bumper sticker. I hope my Christianity is evident through my actions and policies. When I act with honesty and integrity people see that and have commented on it. Sometimes that means I lose money. But it always means I can sleep at night knowing I have done the right thing.
I believe that Christian faith is one of the principles that all businesses should use. If everyone would follow this faith the world would be a better place.
Very simple - work diligently to create value for your clients; and honestly to demonstrate integrity and morality in your business dealings; also, be therefore your clients on a daily basis so they can count on your to create value for them; finally, be courteous to anyone and everyone you associate with, right down to the office cleaner or postman, and not just in your business life but also personally. Be a good neighbor and treat others as you would like them to treat you.
I always believe in the Golden Rule. I treat others as I would want to be treated; kindness, respect, fairness, and good communication.
The fruits of the spirit are what we should be providing to our clients.
I try to keep my Christian values in the forefront in both work and all my day-to-day activities. Maintaining my Christian values at work isn’t easy, especially if many of the people aren't believers. However, I make a moral choice, even though I sometimes stumble. In my profession, I believe that we are not to "advertise" our religious preferences, however, that doesn't mean I can't quietly use the morals I believe in without "open advertisement" of my faith. My father, and my previous career in the Navy, taught me how to use these values. Being nice and doing my best ... I try to have that happen naturally.
"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones." -Proverbs 17:22
Modern day gelotologists are just beginning to prove this scientifically, but, the ancient wisdom literature already knew that a happy heart leads a healthy body.
"You shall go out in joy, and be led back in peace; the mountains and hills before you shall burst into song, and the trees of the field shall clap their hands." -Isaiah 55:12
Notice that the verses about Christ and his coming speak emphatically of joy. This is why many of Christmas carols have the word "joy" in them; Christ brings joy!
"Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy"! -Psalm 126:2
The words joy, peace, clap, song, happy heart, cheerful heart, good medicine all resonate with a laughter yoga practice.
Start a laughter yoga practice and heal the mind, body, spirit connection.

Matthew 6:33 -But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.
As you sow, so shall you reap. If we sow the seed of good ethical practices and delivering value, the universe will reward us. Last week I delivered a course, in which a CPA said one of his clients made an interesting comment. He said that when he does good for others, he notices that good things happen for him within a few months. This is how the universe works.
