You don't have to advertise Biblical counseling, you are part of God's Kingdom and as such you are to share the knowledge, insight, and revelation with others as you meet them on your journey. As you let your light shine you are your own billboard and advertisement and people will be drawn to you as you are following the KINGDOM Principles of God. Though I am a pastor, I am not a counselor. I readily tell people I am not a counselor. Our church is located in a small town in a rural area. It'd be nice to know of Christian counselors in the area. The best way to advertise to someone like me is to arrange a visit and come by and talk to me. Before I refer any of my people to a counselor I want to know what the counselor's education, certification, and specializations are. I want to know whether the counselor takes insurance, which insurance, and what the costs are. This is especially important since most people I encounter who need counseling lack the financial resources to pay for any counseling at all. Most of all I want to make sure I'm not sending people to a fraud who will do more harm than good.
We are always looking for Christian Counselors who do not support abortion, assisted suicide, etc. Bring your business card to church offices so they are available when the church wants to refer a member.
You can also buy an ad in the church bulletin which is handed out each week.
Tell a story about how someone had a challenge and you helped them get beyond it. Follow that with five star reviews from past clients. For privacy, you can use their initials.
