Coffee is good, powdered creamer is awful. Quiet spaces with well insulated walls in case the guy next door has a bad habit of shouting or singing loudly (or talking on the phone loudly). A provisioned break room with healthy snacks - for those days you need to work through lunch, but you'll kill someone if you don't get to eat something - fruit, bread, lunch meat would also be a huge plus for me.

And if you're talking about Company Culture, one thing I dearly love about my husband's company is their commitment culture. Team-building events once per year, company picnic once per year & experiences where their work family, no matter how separate their work tasks & goals are, get to know each other. This makes for a strong company AND a really awesome workspace.

Aloha! Customer service is a must. The society in average stores lack this service. I assume it depends of the person’s character. Welcoming  atmosphere is nice also. Enough space without walking into someone’s chair or table would be nice.

Technology is the biggest factor.  Is either the wifi or network fast?

Sunlight.

A place where you can get a quiet surrounding as needed.

Oh, and coffee - definitely - GOOD coffee.

I usually work from home, but I look for location, access to conference room, parking availability, price, and atmosphere. Does it have a professional vibe or more of a relaxed hangout place? I lean more to professional because I want to be able to meet clients there.

You bet. Our situation is unique, but I might add that a shared workspace offers great advantages for many growing small businesses and certainly worth consideration.
