Fully understanding your Client Acquisition Costs, and Customer Lifetime Value...and using that data to make all of your marketing decisions.
Once you have these key metrics firmly in place, it becomes much easier to systematize your sales process through strategic sales funnels and paid traffic.
Perhaps this is a little cynical, but better customer and B2B communication. I find that emails, texts, reminders, etc. often have to be sent repeatedly and followed up with a physical phone call to get things done.
My boss keeps reminding us that we need to read and re-read all our customer communication that goes out. We need to ask ourselves:
1. Does the communication quickly describe what is needed from the customer?
2. Does it give enough detail for them to understand the situation or request, but not too much to fatigue them.
3. Is it easy to read and free of spelling and errors in grammar?
If the customers spent as much time on each piece of coorespondance as we do, our business would certainly be more productive.
