I tend to get more calls from my offline advertising than i do any social media platforms. But i think that has to do with the type of business i have. I own American Printing Services, a print brokerage for every area of printing. If it has graphics or text or need distribution, I provide it. We are nationwide and FB ads or insta posts just do not reach those corporate customers and mom and pop shops are not looking for print companies on yelp or linked in. I get more calls from my yellow pages ads (yeah they still have that!)
Facebook has worked for me quite well. I've seen some do good on multiple platforms, but focus on one or two is best rather than many many kf them. I find if you are on too many, you are working harder rather than smarter. I run my online collagen business and promote my products on my Facebook page. I do use tiktok and Instagram but mostly focus on fb. It's all about making connections with people though and not being Spamela Spammerson. I don't ever cold call, or cold text. I connect with people that have things in common with me, make a friendly connection and see where it takes us. I also don't focus on what I want from the connection ie: the sale, I focus on connecting (as best I can) I do have a 6 year old son that takes a ton of my time. So nooks and crannies are where I work my business. I try to help others feel healthier, and look healthier or even make some side cash to help pay bills, bc thats my passion. Then, the end outcome will come. 😁❤️
I'm good at design - and lousy at selling my services. Every time I start with the usual marketing language, I think to myself - that's silly - just show your portfolio. That's definitely wrong strategy, lol
If you check your Google Analytics, you can see how each social platform is performing and where your website traffic is coming from by %. Hi everyone. Our business is Online Marketing and Advertising and have gotten the best results from YouTube and Facebook.
Instagram by far ~ 90% of my income comes from instagram
Facebook has been the primary for my design company. But it's looking like it's time to start looking elsewhere for clientele.
Most of my work has come from LinkedIn.
