It depends on the industry. I feel as though Facebook and Instagram are good for Mowing, Contractors (Renovations, and Remodeling), and sometimes electricians (at least in my area). Although, for insurance, real-estate, Doctors and Lawyers it can be a mixture of LinkedIn, and Facebook (sometimes). I think having yourself on each of these social media platforms posting 1-2 times per week is essential to maintain a presence. Do not spend too long trying to focus on one (unless that is your primary means of communication). Expand your boarders, and be willing to share your story (not just your business, but interesting parts about your life). Social Media is bulk networking at its best, and needs to be seen as a way to relate to those viewing you. This perspective will help with relationships going forward, and can really gain traction as it is consistently utilized.
Believe it or not, I have found ways to leverage Pinterest for my clients. It was, at least for me, the one platform I have always enjoyed, but (in certain niches) I have been able to growth hack businesses with minimal ad spend.
