I worked with a brokerage house that’s fraudulent and withholding clients insurance payment. What should I do?

where are they located and where are the financial transactions taking place?

Contact an attorney that represents small claims or general civil litigation

I would start with insurance commission of the state where it occurred. Just be sure you have all the facts for them

You can call the insurance commissioner  in Tallahassee and place your complaint 

I recommend reaching out to the State Insurance Commission or Department of Insurance for the client's home state.  That should solve things pretty quickly!

Contact the insurance company from which the payment was made. Explain that you never received payment and ask them to reissue the payments to reassigned trusted parties.

Go to the police and file a criminal complaint.

It’s not really my area of practice. However there are two things and I would do. First, I’m assuming that a brokerage house has to have a licensing body and And I would make a complaint against the company with their licensing agency. Second, since this is a fraud case, you can contact the fraud division of the Attorney General’s office and make a complaint.

I would report this brokerage to the Real Estate Council of Alberta. They are responsible for controlling realtors and brokers
