Where do you host your website?
I'm currently hosting with BluDomain and have been affected by their recent server crash. They were able to get my website back up, but I'm still having trouble with it. Who do you use, and are you happy with their service?
Thanks!

It's of my opinion to stay away from "go daddy" or "Wix", as they sell themselves as the one stop shopping for your web-site, but offer poor service after you pay! I would try your own service provider for web-space, some are really good deals and are accountable. As well, try a service for a month, and see if the service is right for you! Sometimes it's a great idea to search out an I.T. tech specializing in web-design and just have a chat about their ideas-as people in that business know more than you think!

Depends on how much tech support you need. If you're busy running your business and don't have loads of time to be your own website support person, I recommend GoDaddy. You can call a friendly, competent tech support person in Phoenix or Cedar Rapids, 24/7. I currently have a half dozen client's sites hosted and developed there and have had few minor problems in 10 or more years. Also, setting up your domain based email(s) is easier with GoDaddy than most others. And, yes, I have had experience with other hosting services. Siteground is great if you're a WordPress wizard, for example.
Kayleen MacDonald -www.kayleenmacdonald.com she does my website she is really good and it is hosted by GoDaddy never any problems.
Try a server system recovery on the hard drives. Do you have a raid system that backs up your web server, if not, I suggest to get one, this will keep all DATA and data protected, just in case something like this situation occurs again.
I have been with dreamhost.com for almost 20 years. They are awesome and can host just about any type of website. The best part is they are affordable and their customer service is amazing. And if that weren't enough, they have been PCMag's "Editors' Choice" Winner 4 Years In a Row. I host a lot of websites and they are always very helpful during the very few times I have had issues.
You might want to look into Wix. No coding needed. Drag & drop construction. I’ve built Wordpress sites and Joomla sites and Wix is by far the easiest to use and maintain. They have a ton of photographer templates. And tweaking any of them to fit your style couldn’t be easier. I have built six sites on wix in the last three years and the reliability has been excellent. Responsive service, too. Good luck with your site!
Hosting your site can be an easy process if you use a reliable source, or you can host yourself which I wouldn't recommend unless you are very computer literate. Rates for hosting also vary by vendor remember you usually get what you pay for. If you want more information please reach out and we can discuss your issues.
Shopify... and I love it! Easy to use and covers every aspect of my business that is needed-- and beyond. Reasonable monthly/credit card fees. Good Luck!
I have been with Blue Host for almost 12 years and they have been wonderful and have gotten me through several hacks and other nasty things. they are at BlueHost.com
