My favorite places to travel to the Caribbean, great question, and I have to say, all depends what you re looking for. I have been in a travel business since 1988 and do not offer destinations or properties unless personally inspected It is a hard job but someone has to do it.LOL. Now,to answer your question, few things about the Caribbean you should know and discover before going. If you are looking for a total relaxation and the best vacation ever, a villa rental is the way to go,offering best of services with a full staff including cooks isJamaica, the grand daddy of all villa vaction. Everything is taken care for you and the chef will prepare anything your heart desires plus it is a large island with many great options. . But if you want to have great fun, St.martin is amazing island with a very multi cultural island that is coming back stronger than ever after Irma.  For more questions or help with accommodation, have a look at our site : www.lovethesun.com or contact us directly .happy travels to all

My favorite place in the Caribbean is Playa del Carmen.

Turks & Caicos.  Grace Bay on Providenciales often rated #1 Beach in world.

I Love going to Cancun and also Jamaica as well

We have always traveled to the Caribbean on cruise ships, in fact, we've been doing it for twenty-five years but we have never actually flown to the Caribbean. The island I would like to visit for at least a few days is the Island of Curacao!

The first striking thing about Curacao for me is the architecture. Rather than the typical Caribbean architecture, Curacao has European design which is certainly a change from the norm.

I used to joke about the name because I pronounce it "cure a sow" - because of the pronunciation, I jokingly called it the "island of sick pigs" - which, of course, is far from reality because Curacao is a beautiful island that has not been overrun by tourists! Curacao is sophisticated enough to be European and at the same time, laid back enough to also be Caribbean.

If you haven't visited, you should! - Leland of Cruise Knowledge Travel
