At a high level, as many planners, catering companies, florists, venues, etc that your budget allows. This would ideally bring in the most leads for you to weed through and pick your clients.

Personally, I only aim to shoot 6 or 7 weddings each year, so I try to be picky about the brides I work with. I prefer fun couples with moderate budgets that aren't doing a super elegant pintrest wedding. I just gel better with those couples than "country club" type couples (apologies for the stereotyping).

If you're looking to target a certain crowd or client, I'd pick a wedding planner(s) that you align with well and start building a relationship over the next few years to develop a targeted partnership.

Hope this helps

Florists, DJs, event locations. Have you thought about offering articles to a local paper? There are still some small publications that need to fill space and let "experts" fill that space with regular articles. It can't be exclusively self- marketing or a pres release. But there's enough to write about where you can be entertaining, educate and get in front of prospects you don't know about. I have a florist as a client and she has told me stories or wedding craziness. You also should be investing a lot of time on you website, facebook page and instagram. PPC ads and boosting Facebook posts are essential in reaching more people than you alone can call or meet.

Someone who is savvy with Photography and videography, especially a event promoter, DJ, and Blogger.

To really expand your brand is to engage with wedding websites that refer photographers for a budget. Social media (Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr), YouTube for building video trailers of your work, and word of mouth.

When you post pictures on FB after the wedding, tag dj's, caterers, florists, etc, that you want to work with more in the future. If they enjoy working with you, and you offer them images to promote their piece of the wedding, you build a relationship that could include recommending you, if they like working with you and admire your work.

Event planners, Make Up Artists, Stylists, Fashion Designers, HR Recruiters *For professional profile pictures,

A photographer can co-promote with catering halls, florist, dress shops and any vendor that will be on the event.

how to get more bang for your buck you need to go ahead and put together a team of referral partners. Bni calls it a Power Team. Simply put together everybody that you can think of at least five to eight that's complementary but doesn't compete with you on your team. IE event planner, cater, venue, rental company, limo company, florist, printer. You get to Point by now

That is a tough one. Here I have inquired with a wedding planner or two but they are "already aligned" with a select couple photographers. Seems like I am too old and the 20 -something crowd are kind of closed about the "circles of influence" they weave. There are some long time caterers and cake people I do have a great relationship with. I find "circles of influence" are more of back scratching circles. I am a long time seasoned professional and that is the message I am trying to get out there. Not a person who delivers thousands of photos. I am finding myself "creatively exhausted" shooting digital weddings. I miss the days when I had 250-300 exposures to make 40-50 significant images. Without going back to "film" limitations of quantity, I want to market myself as a person who makes "photos for the ages". That's my .2c and I am starting to think "Alignable" might be another networking time suck.
