Yeah, it was a photo off of a blog. I hounded and hounded, and after several months I finally received a royalty check.
when I was young and naive I thought it was great that a business owner wanted my thoughts on how I would write up certain things for his company. Thinking I was going to get the job I laid out my plan. Needless to say I never heard from him again but my plan sure looked like it worked for him. So nothing goes for free anymore 😉

Yes, it has. I like to use Grammarly or Pro Writing Aid to input a piece of my work (usually a small section unless it is a short story) and run the plagiarism checker. It will quickly tell you if your work is on other sites. I usually contact the site in question and begin direct resolution.

Yes. SNL: the Who/Watt skit in the late '70s or early '80s.

Yes, I am seeking professional entertainment attorney to help me. My work is copywrite protected by Library of Congress. It is a published literary work and I am seeking plagiarism by the perpetrators.

Oh, yeah. I actually caught another guy named Thomas Matthews taking credit for my novel REJECTION. I went to the event. It was a hoot and didn't end well for the fake me. Funny thing was, I sold some books because of it. Some of the attendees accused us of setting it up. Nope. Too much fun.

2 books to strip away your lack of motivaation or a block are Jerme Stern's powerhouse of a book entitled Making Shapely Fiction, and secondly my Creative Writing Class in book, audio or ebook on Amazon Publishing - my title is DEAD on WRITING subttled  A how-to for the dysfunctional writer in us all. I suggest the paperback. Chockful of practcal, useful, helpful down-to-earth STUFF from an author of over 100 books, professor of writing for 40 years.
